Suspected egg smuggling: Border Police surrounding Jerusalem arrested in the area of Bet Horon Bridge a vehicle containing approximately 8,600 eggs that were allegedly smuggled from the village of Beit Urra Al-Foka. The driver of the vehicle, a 41-year-old resident of Jerusalem, was detained for questioning, while other suspects fled the scene. The vehicle and the eggs were seized.
A hidden passenger service penalized drivers in Jerusalem: During a covert operation by Jerusalem district police in the Shuafat crossing area, five drivers who were transporting passengers for hire without the proper license and without required insurance were apprehended.
